​Recommended for ages 6 & up - Kids under 9 must be accompanied by an adult

  • Stories, songs, and activities! 

Thursdays 1:00 to 2:00 PM

  • Participants in the Literature Fair can use this time to work on their displays at the library.  For more information about the Literature Fair, click HERE.​

  • Kids of all ages, even if not participating in the Literature Fair, can come to the library for self-guided activity - games, puzzles, crafts and more.

Friday, June 9 @ 6:00 PM - Bar(cookie) Crawl - A Fun Family Event!

  • Make your favorite bar cookie recipe

  • Bring cookies to the library by 6:00 pm

  • Judging by celebrity judge begins at 6:15 pm

  • Enjoy samples of all bar cookies 

  • Vote for Tasters' Favorite

  • Awards ceremony for Tasters' Favorite and Best-in-Show

  • All ages welcome to compete

Wednesday, June 14 @ 6:00 PM - Plant & Seed Swap with Master Gardener Sharon Upchurch!

  • Bring seedlings, seeds, cuttings and more to share

  • Take home some new varieties of houseplants, veggies, flowers, etc.

  • Learn some tips and tricks for helping your garden thrive from a Master Gardener.

Friday, June 23 @ 6:00 PM - WT Johnson, Storyteller

  • Celebrated storyteller WT Johnson returns with a story of the Underground Railroad and the importance of quilts in helping escaped slaves navigate the path to freedom.

  • All Ages!

Friday, July 7 @ 6:00 PM -  BlockFest Family Build Night!

  • Beth Weaver of Parents as Teachers joins us with her supply of blocks and building supplies, from tiny to tremendous!  

  • The Library will provide KEVA planks for intricate designs, ball runs, and more!

  • Build big or build small, fun for all!
