Thursday, September 7 @ 5:30 - 7:00 PM - Guest Artist Reception "Reflections on the Mississippi"

  • Come view the artwork of Culver Stockton Students, and meet the students

  • The artwork is a result of one class' year long River Experience​
  • The event is sponsored by the Canton Area Arts Council
  • Refreshments will be provided
  • The program is intended for all ages

  • Dr. Patrick Hotle will explore the impact of abolitionism on both sides of the border during the years 1831 to 1844 and how slavery and abolitionism shaped the early history of the area.

  • This program is brought to you by the Missouri Humanities Speakers Bureau.

  • This program is intended for adults and teens
