Asbestos Abatement and Flooring Renovation Project
The Canton Public Library is requesting proposals from licensed contractors for two projects at 403 Lewis Street, Canton, MO (Canton Public Library building) in late summer/early fall of 2026.
The overall project limits encompass approximately 4,000 square feet.

Deadline for Proposals: May 7, 2026
Anticipated Award Date: Contractor will be notified following the May 12, 2026 meeting of the Library Board of Trustees.
Anticipated Project Dates:
1, Asbestos abatement: starting on or around September 1, 2026, as agreed between the Canton Public Library and the Contractor.
2, Flooring and Flooring Installation: Contractor will be required to coordinate with the Canton Public Library and the Contractor providing asbestos abatement services.​
