Get Involved!
From volunteering to be a plant-sitter to dismantling and rebuilding shelving units, and everything in between, the library has opportunities for everyone to get involved in this project. Check out the list below for ways to contribute!
Hands-on opportunities:
We will have drop-in volunteer hours as follows during the first week in August. If you can come, we will have a job for you!
Monday, August 3, 8:00-9:00 AM
Tuesday, August 4, 6:00-7:00 PM
Wednesday, August 5, 8:00-9:00 AM
Thursday, August 6, 6:00-7:00 PM
Friday, August 7, 8:00-9:00 AM
The first week we will start taking down Summer Reading decorations, assembling cardboard boxes, filling and labelling boxes, moving boxes, and possibly dismantling shelving. Not all jobs will require heavy lifting.
These drop-in hours may be repeated each week.
Monetary Donations:
The library welcomes donations of any amount to help offset the expenses incurred by the project.
For just $2.00, anyone can adopt a packing box. See the Adopt-A-Box page for details.
Larger donations will be used to help purchase new furnishings and as general project support.
