Library Service Access

The Canton Public Library offers a wide range of services to patrons and visitors. Because many library services will be temporarily suspended during the renovations, here are options to access some of the services you may need:

Books:

• The Culver-Stockton Library is always available to all residents (ask about their "Community Borrower" program!)

 

• We are working with the La Grange Library to issue temporary cards for Canton Public Library patrons in good standing. Stay tuned for details!

​

• Free eBooks and eAudiobooks are available for our patrons on Libby and CloudLibrary - our providers for electronic materials.

Interlibrary Loan Requests will be suspended for the duration of the renovation project. If you would like to make a request, please email cantonmopubliclibrary@gmail.com and we will place the request as soon as it is feasible to do so.

If you have any books you would like to return, feel free to use the book drop box in front of the library as usual. You can also hold onto any books until the library opens. 
 

Events:
The library will hold book club meetings at an alternative location.
Friday morning Story Times will be held at 10:00 AM at Central Park, weather permitting.
Check the Library Facebook page and website for a full calendar of events.
 

Printing, Copying, Faxing, and Computer Use:

• You can use computers and print documents at Culver-Stockton Library and the La Grange Library.

• Printing from your phone is only available at Culver-Stockton.

• Copy and fax services are available at the Culver-Stockton Library, the La Grange Library and Canton City Hall.

You can get help with reference questions you'd normally ask at the library by emailing  cantonmopubliclibrary@gmail.com.
 

Meeting Rooms:
If you need a space to meet for private meetings, family visits, or other purposes, contact Immanuel United Methodist Church (573-288-3427) or Canton Christian Church (573-288-3018).
